I am in suffield and i have 4 pullets im willing to separate with
1 ameraucana and 2 golden laced wyandottes (2months old ready to go outside) 1 columbian wyandotte (almost 2 months old)
I also have a beautiful ameraucana rooster that is same age that I am keeping for another month to help keep the girls safe till my other rooster is older. I will take $10 each for the girls and the rooster will be free once he is ready . Pictures are from 2 weeks ago rooster is the black and white .
Thanks Courtney. I only need 2 pullets. We will be getting 4 4-week-old wyandotte pullets on May 14 from Tractor Supply. My husband made a coop but he thinks it is only big enough for 6. I don't want a rooster as we have fairly close neighbors although I know they are great protection for the hens.
We are first-time backyard chicken farmers. Worried about keeping everyone healthy and also how to integrate chickens from different flocks. Any advice? We have been self-isolating during the virus - well but older. Not sure if they can be delivered. Understandable if you don't want to do that.
All of our guys are in great health but to introduce u want to maybe try a fence divider or u can try to put them in and see how they do . They will all be young and will be new territory so that might help but if they fight to much I would say just do a fence divider so they can see each other and give it about a week and try again . I can bring them to u no problem. I can with first time meeting as well .
If delivery not possible, we can pick up.
